Our Story

young adult learning disability being taught coffee making

We opened the doors to our first café in December 2021 with a simple ambition: to create more opportunities for people with learning disabilities to build careers in hospitality. In our first years, we developed, tested and refined our Training Programme and our Employment Programme.

Our café now exists as a Centre of Excellence where we continue to learn about best practice to train and support people with learning disabilities into employment, and support others in the industry to join this mission.

We take these ongoing, on-the-ground learnings beyond our own café through training, consultancy and practical toolkits, while continuing to deliver our own programmes. By sharing what we know, we aim to grow our impact and transform the hospitality industry, so that, if someone with a learning disability wants to work, they can

Our Vision
